the win. Moussa Gueye pulled down a team-high total of seven rebounds in just
11 minutes of action.
Jaye Crockett recorded a double-double for the Red Raiders (5-3) with 22
points and 11 rebounds off the bench. Jordan Tolbert chipped in 12 points as

The Crimson Tide wasted no time taking control as they built a double-digit
advantage on the scoreboard less than seven minutes after tip-off before
taking a 43-27 lead into halftime. Alabama knocked down 53.8 percent of its
field goal attempts including 5-of-9 from three-point range in the first
half. TTU converted 35.7 percent of its shots from the floor and just 1-of-9
tries from distance in the opening 20 minutes.
The Red Raiders stepped it up on the defensive end after the break and held
the visitors to just five points over a span of 12:25 in the second half. The
strong effort allowed TTU to narrow the deficit to just two points with just
over a minute remaining, but Levi Randolph hit a clutch jumper with 36 seconds
showing on the clock to make it a two possession game. Alabama saw its big
lead evaporate after going 0-of-5 from beyond the arc in the second period.
The Crimson Tide managed to pick up the victory despite committing 20
turnovers. TTU was unable to take advantage and shot 37.9 percent from the
floor in the game.
