BUFFALO, N.Y.- College is right around the corner for many seniors in Western New York. Same is true for nine student athletes at Bishop Timon - St. Jude High School.

Two seniors signed college Letters of Intent, while seven others announced the school they've committed to for next year.

The two letters of intent were signed by members of the lacrosse team. Lewis Vacarro will play across town at Canisius College (Division 1) and Alex Corbett will head west to Lake Erie College in Ohio (Division 2).

In addition to the lacrosse announcements, several members of the Timon - St. Jude football team were on hand to announce where they'll play next season.

Defensive end and tight end Demone Harris will be a preferred walk-on at University at Buffalo next year.

Linebacker Brad Wellenzohn will play at John Carroll University.

Lineman Sean Murphy and kicker Tom Gioia will head to Alfred University.

Quarterback Ryan Dougherty and center Dylan Carbone will play for Buffalo State College.

Wide receiver Bryant Fulton will play for Edinboro in Pennsylvania.
