AMHERST,  N.Y.-Sweet Home beat Starpoint 74-52 Friday night at Sweet Home.

Panthers head coach Scott Martin told Two On Your Sides Stu Boyar that lately his team has been bolstered by quick starts. It happened again Friday night. "Its been the quick start for us the last three or four games. We've been able to get over the early season blues because of football. That's probably three straight games we've jumped out to an early lead and were able to maintain it. The quick start has been the difference for us. We play a lot of guys."

Sweet Home's # 11 Khalid Barnes was the game's high scorer with 18 points. Another senior, # 1 Kole Cilchrist had 15 points. Starpoint's top scorer was # 42 Andrew Ranke who finished with 16 points and nine rebounds.
