CHEEKTOWAGA, N.Y.-For just the third time in school history Cleveland Hill is headed to the Far West Regionals. They will play Hornell, a team that comes in riding a 49 game winning streak.

Along with just being in the Far West Regionals that streak is a pretty good target to shoot at too. Eagles head coach Glen Grahm told Two On Your Side's Stu Boyar "We did talk about that a little bit in terms of the context of you know there's a loss out there somewhere. I don't know if its going to be us but it could be us. We have to just go out and play hard and look for the best."

Junior running back Brandon Thomas told Stu "its good going into these type of games because you're the underdog. So when you win its just a big upset for the other team." Senior quarterback Jacob Radlich told Stu "we're excited about the opportunity. We think 49-and-1 sounds pretty good. So that's our goal going in there. We're just going to play hard nosed football."

Hornell beat Le Roy for the Section 5 Class C championship over the weekend.  Coach Graham told Stu "They're a big team, they're pretty physical. They have a great back # 40 (Zack Bacon). He's a 230 lbs back and they don't make many mistakes. When we saw them play on Sunday they don't make many mistakes at all. They're obviously a well coached and well disciplined football team."

Kickoff is scheduled 12-noon at All High Stadium in Buffalo. You can watch the game via live stream here on wny.highschoolsports.net with Jonah Javad handling the play by play and Dick Gallagher doing color commentary and analysis..
