BUFFALO, NY - Bills receiver Stevie Johnson says the the groin surgery he underwent Tuesday in Philadelphia was a success.
Johnson tweeted the above picture he says after surgery, and the tweet read as follows:
"Thank Yall! Successful Op. Still Pretty as Ever maybe a bit more from after the Surgery... Ha What? RecoveryMode now."
Prior to the operation, Johnson's agent described the surgery as "very, very minor." Johnson is not expected to miss any time during the Bills offseason workouts.
Johnson was nagged by a groin problem for much of last season. The injury did not cause him to miss any games.
Johnson signed a new five-year contract with the Bills back in early March.
