EDMONTON, AB (NLL.com) - Shawn Williams had a goal and five assists and the Edmonton Rush continued their push for a playoff spot with an 11-8 win over the Buffalo Bandits on Saturday night.
Corey Small had two goals and two assists for the Rush (5-8), who moved 1 ½ games ahead of last-place Washington in the West.
John Tavares and Luke Wiles each scored two goals for Buffalo (5-9), which dropped into last place, one game behind Rochester.
The Bandits have just two games left in the regular season and are fighting with Edmonton and Washington for the final two playoff spots. Buffalo will host Rochester in their final home game next Saturday.
