BUFFALO, N.Y. -- A local man who urged his girlfriend to drive away from the scene of a serious DWI crash four years ago will stay in prison while his appeal makes its way through court.
John Pieri was ordered to spend a year in prison after a judge found that he had repeatedly violated his probation.
Almost four years ago, Pieri was a passenger in his then-girlfriend's Andrea Glinski's S.U.V. when Glinski, who had been drinking hit two Daemen College students on Main Street, injuring both.
