TOWN OF STAFFORD, NY - The Genesee County Sheriff's Department is investigating an accident that sent one person to the hospital with chest injuries.
Investigators say it appears that a pick-up truck traveling north on Route 237 in the Town of Stafford failed to yield for a stop sign at the intersection of Route 33 and was struck by a delivery truck traveling east on Route 33.
The driver of the pick-up was having difficulty breathing and was transported by Mercy Flight to Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester.
Charges are pending while the investigation continues.
