BUFFALO, NY - The first Saturday of every month at the Buffalo Zoo highlights a different animal. But for the whole month of April, or we should say "Ape-ril", the zoo will be focusing on the gorillas.
Koga, Sidney, Lily and baby Amari enjoyed new toys and special treats while those watching learned about the gorillas.
Everything seemed back to normal for Koga after he briefly escaped from the enclosure last month.
Zoo officials did tell us the zookeeper that was injured during the escaped has not returned to work yet.
Next months featured animal for Zooper Saturday will be the bears of the Buffalo Zoo.
