NIAGARA FALLS, CANADA - After 165 years in business, a local company is losing its contract to run the Maid of the Mist on the Canadian side of the Falls.
The Niagara Parks Commission announced today that they have awarded a 30-year lease agreement to Hornblower, a company out of California.
They did not say whether or not the boats will run this spring, and it's unclear how this will impact the American side of the operations.
