FARMERSVILLE, NY -- New York State Police are searching for a suspicious vehicle in a possible attempted abduction.
Troopers say they are looking for a small, white, two-door car with a black spoiler.
They say the vehicle was in the vicinity of Elton Road and Farmersville Station on December 4th around 7:30 p.m.
The driver of the white car approached a teenage male and tried to get him to get into the car.
An investigator with State Police in Machias said they do not know if this possible attempted abduction is connected to recent ones in Wyoming and Cattaraugus counties last month.
Since the beginning of last month, attempted abductions have been reported in the Towns of Yorkshire, Castile and Perry.
The investigator also said they are not releasing a description of the driver at this time, just the vehicle description.
