Unique Places: Buffalo's Brain Museum

Channel 2's Michael Wooten visited UB's Brain Museum, where there are dozens of specimens on display.

BUFFALO, N.Y. -- Buffalo is home to a one-of-a-kind museum that is perhaps one of the 'smartest' in the country.

The Brain Museum, formally known as the University at Buffalo Museum of Neuroanatomy, features more than 90 specimens.

Dr. Chris Cohan runs the museum, which is the only collection in the country that is dedicated exclusively to the human brain.

It will eventually be moved from the South Campus to a new facility at UB's new medical school on the Medical Campus in Downtown Buffalo.

The museum is open to the public through guided tours. You can contact Dr. Cohan to arrange a visit.
