Jacobs, Small to face off in Nov. election

BUFFALO, NY--  With the majority of the votes in, it looks like Democrat Amber Small will face off against Republican Chris Jacobs for the NYS Senate 60th seat.

Small beat out former state senator Alfred T. Coppola in the democratic primary.  Small has served as the Executive Director of the Parkside Community Association.

Jacobs, who currently serves as Erie County Clerk, received a majority of the Republican votes over attorney Kevin Stocker.

The 60th district seat is currently held by Marc Panepinto.  The democrat cited personal reasons for not wanting to run for re-election.

Election day is November 8.
