Police investigating shooting at charter school

MARITIME CHARTER SCHOOL HIT BY BULLET

BUFFALO, N.Y. - Buffalo Police officers were on hand at Maritime Charter School on Thursday morning as students arrived, because a window at the school was shot out on Wednesday night. 

The incident occurred around 7 p.m.Wednesday according to a Buffalo Police spokesperson. No injuries were reported. 

Students were not in the Genesee Street building at the time of the shooting. Despite that, there will be extra police patrols on Thursday to ensure student safety.
