Niagara Falls Man Dies in Hyde Park Blvd Crash

NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. -- Niagara Falls Police say the driver involved in an accident last night on Hyde Park Boulevard at College Avenue has died. The accident happened around 10 p.m. last night.

They believe an 85 year old man from Niagara Falls may have had some sort of medical issue before he crashed his car into a CXS railroad signal control box, sending the car airborne and into a National Grid pole.

The driver was treated at the scene of the accident, but was pronounced dead at St. Mary's Hospital. The driver's name has not yet been released.
