HYANNISPORT, Mass. (AP) -- Senator Edward Kennedy says he's "enormously grateful" to everyone at Massachusetts General Hospital where he was taken after suffering a seizure Saturday.

Speaking to reporters, the Massachusetts Democrat said all the doctors and nurses "were just spectacular."

Kennedy is back at his Cape Cod home after being diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor.

The 76-year-old liberal icon says the notes and letters he's received from friends, Senate colleagues, and the people of Massachusetts have "all been very touching" and "uplifting" and that he's "very grateful."
