Hockey fans excited about next month's Winter Classic at Ralph Wilson Stadium can now remember the event with a unique souvenir.
How does a special edition Ice Bowl snow globe sound? Local artist Bob Gregg, who is an arts marketing instructor at Daemen College, designed it to help commemorate the unique sporting event. He says its a natural fit.
"I said, 'wow, we'll do a snow globe!'," says Gregg. "How appropo for Buffalo: snow, January, hockey, outside, ya know," he added.
The globes cost $19.99 each and they also glow in the dark! Proceeds go to Kevin Guest House. They'll be on sale Wednesday, December 6th in the lobby of Roswell Park Cancer Institute from 10:00am until 3:00pm.
Globes can also be purchased at Premier Foods and at Partners in Art in North Tonawanda.
