
On November 8, 2007, as a result of one month investigation conducted by the Orleans County Major Felony Crime Task Force and the Orleans County Sheriff's Dept. into the sale and distribution of crack cocaine in the Albion area, police arrested four individuals on numerous drug charges.
Shardae Hadick, one of the people arrested, is the 19-year-old daughter of the Village of Albion Mayor Michael Hadick. Police say she lives in his Albion home.
Michael Hadick stories:
Police seized 91 individual bags of crack cocaine (12 grams), packaged marijuana, hydrocodone pills, cash and other drug paraphernalia during the raid.
Charged:
- Shardae A. Hadick, dob ? 07/05/88, Village of Albion, N.Y., she was charged with criminal sale of a controlled substance in the third degree, two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree, criminal possession of a controlled substance in the fourth degree, criminally using drug paraphernalia in the second degree and criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree.
- Isaiah Young, dob-11/02/87, Rochester, N.Y. He was charged with criminal sale of a controlled substance in the third degree, two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree, criminal possession of a controlled substance in the fifth degree, criminally using drug paraphernalia in the second degree and unlawful possession of marijuana.
- Isaac A. Williams, dob-11/06/87, Village of Albion, N.Y., he was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree, criminal possession of a controlled substance in the fifth degree and unlawful possession of marijuana. Williams was also wanted in Genesee County on an outstanding bench warrant.
- Kaeyla M. Erway, dob-12/02/88, Waterport, N.Y., she is charged with conspiracy in the fourth degree and unlawful possession of marijuana. She was released on an appearance ticket returnable to the town of Albion justice court on November 27, 2007 at 6:00 p.m.
Hadick, Young and Williams were arraigned in the town of Albion justice court, by the Hon. Kevin Howard. All three were committed to the Orleans county jail on $25,000.00 cash bail or $50,000.00 bond. They are to return back to the Town of Albion Justice Court on November 14, 2007 at 7:00 p.m. Further arrests and charges may be pending in this investigation
