Buffalo Bills rookie Paul Posluszny visited the Women and Children's Hospital playroom Tuesday afternoon to present a $1,500 donation check and kick off an ice cream party.

"This is a really good experience. I get to meet an up-and-coming linebacker of the Buffalo Bills," said patient Dave Whalen.

Turkey Hill Dairy has agreed to donate $1,000 to the hospital for every sack made by Posluszny.

So how does knowing that affect Number 51 out on the field?

"It makes you wanna get to the quarterback really bad, that's for sure. You know it's great just to know that you can play a game and help out a great cause, it's a fun feeling," said Posluszny.

Even though the linebacker was injured back in September during a game against the New England Patriots, Posluszny's not focusing on that.

"You know when I got hurt one of the first things I thought of was, you know what, I don't know if Turkey Hill is gonna go with someone else, switch it up because I wasn't going to be able to help them out anymore. But hopefully next year, I'm just looking forward to next year, just helping out the Bills and helping out this organization," said Posluszny.

Turkey Hill, based in Pennsylvania, sponsors the Buffalo Bills. The company produces the team's official ice cream called Buffalo Bills Stampede Sundae.

Five cents from every container sold of the flavor directly benefits the Women and Children's Hospital of Buffalo.

When approached before the season about the program, the Bills' second round draft pick immediately agreed to participate and is also donating an additional $1,500 to the hospital on behalf on the cause.
