The Wyoming County SPCA is faced with the possibility of shutting its doors and is asking the public for help.

The organization has about a month's worth of funds left in their operating budget right now. It costs between $12-$15,000 to operate the facility each month and that money comes strictly from donations.

The Wyoming County SPCA has been around since 1905 and has a no-kill policy. That means no animal deemed eligible for adoption is ever euthanized. They are currently housing over 280 cats alone...along with other animals

If you would like to make a donation, the address is 808 Creek Road, P.O. Box 151, Attica, New York, 14011. Donations of food and other supplies are always welcome as well.

For more information on how you can help, you can contact them at (585) 591-3114...or visit their web site by clicking on the link to the right.

You can also make contributions at any Five Star Bank branch.
