5 Teens Died on Impact in Crash

FAIRPORT, N.Y. (AP) -- The Ontario County Sheriff's office says autopsies showed five Fairport High School graduates died on impact when their SUV collided with a tractor-trailer last week.

That's according to a report that also says alcohol was not a factor in the accident.

Hannah Congdon, Bailey Goodman, Meredith McClure, Sara Monnat and Katherine Shirley, all of Perinton, were on their way to the Goodman family vacation home on Keuka Lake when Goodman veered into the path of the oncoming truck.

The Monroe County Medical Examiners office is still waiting for toxicology test results to determine whether drugs played any role in the wreck.

The accident remains under investigation and authorities don't know why Goodman swung into the truck after successfully passing a van.
