Olean has been invaded by giant rodents, but residents don't seem to mind. In fact a new public art project and fundraiser has the Cattaraugus County city sprinkled with 14 fluffy-tailed friends.

"We chose the squirrel because olean is surrounded by trees. We're tree city U.S.A, and the city is filled with squirrels, mainly black squirrels," says amy sherburne, who organized the project.

The project is called Woodland In The City.

Most of the squirrels have a theme related to their sponsor. The Cutco Squirrel proudly displays his wares and looks like he prefers chopped nuts.

Linda Harrington got her employer on board. The community bank had a contest to find a fun theme Eventually, Sir Pennywise was born. He's practically pulling a paycheck.

"he's become real. He's part of our family now. He's a banker. He's a banker," says Linda.

Eventually, all 14 squirrels will be auctioned off to raise money for a children's museum.

Until then, you're invited.
