
The General Pulaski Association, Inc. hosts its annual competition for young Western New York women of Polish heritage. The event was held at the Cheektowaga Senior Citizen Center.
25 young women competed for two titles. The 2007 Countess Pulaski is 14-year-old Paulina Paw of Clarence. The runner-up was Corrine Lasek, 16, of West Seneca.
The Pulaski Princess is 9-year-old Destiny Sklener of Alden. The runner-up in this division was Kayla Nowak, 7, of Cheektowaga.
The Countess and Princess Pulaski will lead the annual Pulaski Day Parade on July 22, 2007 at 1:30pm on Harlem Road in Cheektowaga.
Channel 2's Maryalice Demler was the co-host of the event.
