Suspect Returns To The Scene Of The Crime...As An Employee!

A Grand Island man who allegedly robbed a Burger King a week ago is arrested Thursday after returning to be trained for a job at the same restaurant.

Other employees called Sheriff's Deputies after recognizing him as the thief.

Deputies say 29-year-old Adam Ruiz of Staley Road was arrested at the restaurant.

Ruiz is charged with armed robbery and is also wanted in connection with a drug warrant in Amherst.
