AMHERST, N.Y. -- Officials say they are investigating an accident Sunday morning in which a vehicle struck a power line in Amherst, causing more than 200 customers to lose power.
The incident happened at the intersection of Ivyhurst Road North and Longmeadow Road, Amherst Police said.
After the vehicle struck the power line, 202 customers lost power from 11:18 a.m. to 12:36 p.m., a National Grid spokesperson said. She added at about 5:30 p.m. Sunday that crews were still on the scene working on the power line after all power was restored.
No injuries from the incident, which involved one vehicle, have been reported.
