UB Police investigate South Campus robbery

BUFFALO, N.Y. -- University at Buffalo Police are looking for the suspect of an armed robbery Friday on UB's South Campus, according to a release from the university. 

The robbery happened at about 5:58 p.m. as the victim was walking on the Parker Lot. A similar robbery happened on Lisbon Avenue at about the same time, Buffalo Police say, that may be related. 

The suspect has been described as a black man about 16-20 years old. He is about 5' 5" tall to 5' 6" tall wearing a grey puffy winter coat, camel pants and a black ski mask. 

The suspect displayed a small knife and demanded money, the victim reported. 

University Police checked backyards along Winspear Ave with the Buffalo Police and K-9 unit after the incident was reported Friday. In addition, University Police have increased patrols on South Campus.
