AMHERST, N.Y. -- After a truck hit a power pole along Maple Road in Amherst Monday afternoon, two dozen customers on Maple Road near Millersport Highway and Niagara Falls Blvd. lost power.
Amherst Police said they don't think anyone was seriously injured in the accident, but it is still under investigation.
According to the National Grid Power Outage Map, about 34 customers lost power in the area.
The estimated restoration time for these customers is 4:45 p.m.
Amherst Police tweeted that those driving in the area should be aware that the accident caused traffic signals to go out on Flint and Millersport Highway, as well as along Maple Road west of Millersport. Police advise if you do see a light out at an intersection, treat it as a four-way stop.
