ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. -- The National Weather Service says one of the tornadoes that hit Western New York Thursday made it's way through Orchard Park.
It left behind extensive damage on Draudt Road.
Some of the worst damage included a barn that had its roof blown off.
The owner Roland Neuffer says if he wasn't at the store, he would have been sitting right in the doorway.
"And I don't know what we would have done," he said. "When you see a tornado coming, do you go in the building, do you run out in the field? Who knows what would've happened? So I'm feeling grateful. I don't want to get too emotional, but my family's intact, that's worth more than buildings."
He says he lost a lot of tools and memorabilia, but is thankful no one got hurt.
