Tonawanda Duck Hunter Pulled out of Niagara River

GRAND ISLAND, N.Y.-A duck hunter from Tonawanda and his dog are safe thanks to some fellow hunters who came to their rescue Monday.

Richard Sander, 61, found himself in the Niagara River near Grand island this morning after his boat flipped over while he was reaching for a duck.

Other hunters in a boat nearby noticed and were immediately able to get to Sander and bring him and his dog to shore.
