Timon-St. Joe's game suspended following brawl

TIMON / ST JOE'S GAME SUSPENDED DUE TO BRAWL

BUFFALO, N.Y. - Friday night's Msgr. Martin Varsity High School Football game between St. Joe's and Timon was suspended following a brawl between both teams.

Witnesses tell WGRZ's Danny Spewak the brawl broke out after St. Joe's QB Casey Kelly was hit out of bounds after a play had ended.

Images captured by Harry Scull Jr., a photographer with The Buffalo News, show Casey Kelly's brother, Chad Kelly, current Ole Miss QB, and former Quarterback at St. Joe's, running onto the field when the fight broke out. Chad Kelly had to be restrained by players and coaches.

Timon was in the lead 2-0 when the game was suspended.

Police report no arrests at this time and no injuries at this time. Buffalo Police escorted the St. Joe's team on to their buses after the game was called by officials.

Chad Kelly is the nephew of Bills Hall of Fame QB Jim Kelly. In April 2014, he was dismissed from Clemson University's football program for conduct deemed detrimental to the team. In December of that same year, he was arrested following a fight outside a Buffalo bar. Kelly plead guilty to disorderly conduct and was ordered to perform community service.
