BUFFALO, N.Y. - The city's annual Juneteenth festival - the third largest in the country - kicked off Saturday morning with a parade.

The two-day festival offers all sorts of food, music and other festivities at Martin Luther King Jr. Park.
Juneteenth is a celebration of African Americans' liberty after Abraham Lincoln freed the slaves in 1863.

The parade began at 11 a.m. Saturday, and the other festivities run until 8 p.m. The festival also runs from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday.
