LANCASTER, N.Y. - Taste of Buffalo has been going for 34 years now, and even if you have attended every single year, there is something new to try this year.
The largest two-day food festival in the nation is welcoming 14 new food trucks and restaurants. Water Lily Cafe is one of them.
The restaurant will be bringing four items to the Taste. They're bringing grilled chicken saute and grilled Thai style BBQ pork. For their healthy option, they are bringing a Thai style cucumber salad. And for dessert, they have a blended Thai iced tea.
"We like to involve with the community, especially the Taste of Buffalo, one of the longest traditions that we have here" Kim, the owner and chef, said. "We would like people to know that we are here, serving Thai food in Lancaster area. It's very humbling to get involved."
Taste of Buffalo kicks off Saturday at 11 a.m. You can find the Water Lily Cafe at booth three.
