BPD: Woman In Custody Following Hit & Run

BUFFALO, NY — Buffalo Police say they have a woman in custody in connection to a hit-and-run crash that sent a 46-year-old Buffalo man to the hospital with serious injuries.

Police say 24-year-old Kaela Clark of Buffalo is accused of backing out of a parking spot, when she hit a man who was behind her vehicle. This happened around 12:30 p.m. Saturday in the 2500 block of Main Street.

The man was taken to the Erie County Medical Center with serious injuries. Police said Monday afternoon he was listed in fair condition.

Investigators found the woman's unoccupied vehicle a short time later, and it is currently in police custody.
