SUNY Geneseo responds to hate crime

SUNY Geneseo Investigates Swastika Graffiti

GENESEO, N.Y. -- Police in Geneseo are still searching for the person who spray-painted a swastika with the word "Trump" outside SUNY Geneseo's Nassau Residence Hall Friday. 

The graffiti was quickly removed and the college's student government released the following statement Monday: 

"We ask each and every student to move forward united...and resolved to fight against prejudice and bigotry of any kind."

New York Governor Andrew Cuomo has also ordered a state investigation.
