Strong thunderstorm to hit parts of WNY

BUFFALO, NY — The National Weather Service in Buffalo says that a strong thunderstorm will affect northeastern Wyoming, Livingston, northeastern Alleghany, southwestern Monroe, eastern Genesee and southwestern Ontario counties until 5:45 p.m. Sunday.

Winds could be as strong as 30 miles-per-hour and pea-size hail is possible.

According to the weather service, the following locations could be impacted: Geneseo, Dansville, Letchworth State Park, Henrietta, Le Roy, Avon, Mount Morris, Honeoye Falls, Pavilion and Conesus.
