"I will stay in Buffalo if... "

It was the caption to dozens of pictures taken at the Century Grill in Buffalo, filled in by young professionals.  Answers included things like better public transportation, higher paying jobs, more development and better for families.

Those photos snapped will be sent to Western New York lawmakers in the hopes as they make decisions, they'll keep in mind what the people think.

The question, "Why are people leaving Buffalo?", is one that's asked all the time.  The difference with this event,  lawmakers will see and hear answers from the people making the decision to go or stay.

Event organizer Phil Pantano says, "We want them to know right from the people who live here the issues that are important to us."

Nicole Schuman said, "I would stay in Buffalo is more companies gave a chance to younger people to show what they can do."

Nikki Hitchcock says, "I want Buffalo to be a safe place to raise a family, to start having children.  I want it to be a good place to begin building our home."

The event was sponsored by Great Lakes Urban Exchange and Buffalo 360.
