A church community in Gowanda needs hero's tonight, months after devastating floods.  People there are still trying to rebuild their homes and lives.

At the Trinity United Church of Christ, parishioners lost everything after five feet of water flooded the basement.

People there are overcome with joy after strangers rebuilt the room wall to wall, cleaned up the mold, and gave them hope.  But the church still needs a lot of supplies, including basic things like tables, chairs, pots and pans, dishtowels, even Christmas decorations.

You can drop items off at the church, which is located at 30 Erie Avenue in Gowanda.  The church's phone number is (716) 532-3004.
