Patrons of the Orchard Park Manhattan Bagel were feeling sick this morning, and it had nothing to do with the food.
It turns out there was a carbon monoxide leak from the heat exchanger on the roof of the restaurant.
Eleven people were taken to nearby hospitals to be treated for possible carbon monoxide poisoning. Currently, there have been no serious injuries reported.
National Fuel was on hand to investigate the source of the leak.
Anyone with questions is encouraged to contact Orchard Park Fire Company Chief Guy Carrey at 662-5774.
