There is a Swine Flu Clinic today from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. at Starpoint High School, 4363 Mapleton Rd. in Lockport.
The Niagara County Health Department is prepared to vaccinate 2,500 district staff, students, household members, and Starpoint residents that fall within the high-risk groups.
In an effort to manage parking and the possibility of large groups of people, Starpoint has pre-registered district members and given them appointment. If you don't have an appointment but meet to district residency requirements, you should arrive between the hours of 3 and 8:30 p.m.
As a reminder, the high-risk group includes pregnant women, healthcare workers and EMS personnel, people between the ages of 6 months and 24 years, anyone older than 25 with a health condition like asthma, and caregivers of infants under 6 months of age.
