Trent Edwards starts at quarterback for the Bills today.  Edwards coming off a concussion against the Jets.

The Bills had better stop the run today or it will be a very long afternoon.

James Hardy is not active for today's game. That is a surprise to me. I thought he would get a chance to play.

Bills wearing great looking throw back uniforms today.

A flag is thrown and then picked up, no penalty. That's one of pet peeves, if there's no penalty, why is there a flag thrown ?

Poz makes a good play to stop the run.

The pass is incomplete and the Bills force a three and out.

Bills facing their first third down on offense.  Fred Jackson catch and run for the first down.

Lee Evans with the catch for the first down.

Edwards pass on second down is knocked down.

Bills offense is moving. Steve Johnson the catch for the first down. Edwards standing in there nicely before getting rid of the ball.

Bills use the Wildcat. Short gain by Fred Jackson.

Touchdown Bills ! Fred Jackson to Lee Evans !!!! Another direct snap from the Wildcat formation !! Bills get the early lead.

Looks like the Bills used the bye week wisely ! Fred Jackson is amazing ! He should be on the field ALL the time, maybe they've finally figured that out !!

Titans convert a third down on a screen pass to Chris Johnson. Vince Young a great block on Reggie Corner.

Now the Titans are moving the ball into Bills territory.

Screen to Johnson and the Titans are inside the Bills 30 yard line.

Chris Johnson runs through a gigantic hole for the touchdown. Titans tie the game at 7.

Now let's see what the Bills offense can come up with. They're usually good for a touchdown every once in awhile, so hopefully they have more in them today. So far, they've been quite creative.

Holding on the Bills brings back the Jackson kickoff return. Bills start deep in their own end of the field.

Edwards throws one away from deep in his own end zone. Could have been HUGE trouble.

Lynch goes nowhere on the ground.

Pass to Lynch is complete but well short of the first down. Bills will punt.

Titans return punt to their own 49 yard line.

Vince Young fires one downfield and the Titans are inside the Bills 20.

On third and 10 Vince Young throws the touchdown pass to Nate Washington. Titans take the lead with less than a minute remaining in the first quarter. Titans 14 Bills 7.

After a Titans penalty, short pass to Josh Reed who runs for the Bills first down.  That's the end of the first quarter, Titans lead 14-7.

Edwards is sacked for a 9 yard loss and then a false start on the Bills. Maybe that one touchdown was the allotment for the week.

Horrendous looking play, Edwards tries to get it to Lynch but poorly thrown and dropped.  3rd and long.

False start against the Bills. Offense really starting to look like its horrible old self now.

Shot of T.O. on the sidelines. He doesn't look happy. Appeared to be getting after someone a least a little bit.

Replay of T.O. and Josh Reed on the sidelines getting after Tyke Tolbert. Stuff is good for television, not necessarily the team but then again any fire is a good thing.

Maybe that little sidelines incident can spark something good. Somebody's got to speak up !!! At this point I don't think it can hurt. Do you ?

Titans with a big gain on 3rd and 2 for a first down. Johnson takes the pitch from Young and goes to the Bills 25. A 32 yard gain.

Bills stiffen and force a field goal try. A 38 yard attempt and its good ! Even though it looked like a Bills player got a piece of it. Titans lead 17 to 7. Let's see what offense does after T.O.'s outburst. (Reed too, but TO's the Superstar!!)

Chris Kelsay did get a piece of it, but the kick still made it through the uprights. Just the Bills luck !

Shawn Nelson with the catch for the first down.

Edwards gets out of trouble and completes the short pass. Trent is yelling at someone. Another good sign. Let's see some passion.

The bomb to TO is caught and he's out of bounds inside the 5 yard line !!!  Looks like that should have been six but at least its first and goal. Now finish the drive.

False start Bills. On second and goal  Edwards to Lee Evans for Lee's second TD of the day ! Bills trail by 3, 17 to 14.

Jairus Byrd picks off the Vince Young pass. The Byrd man strikes again !!!  AMAZING !! Bills ball !! 8th pick of the year for Byrd.

Pass to TO for a good gain. Lynch some tough running but its coming back on a penalty to Levitre.

Great effort by Fred Jackson who gets the first down !!

Bills now facing a third and long. Two minute warning !!

False start Bills. Demetrius Bell. Now 3rd and longer, 3rd and 12.

Pass to Lynch for a short gain. Bills will punt.

Titans fair catch at their own 9 yard line. Great punt by Moorman.

Titans recover their own fumble. Bad exchange between Young and Johson. Time out Bills.

Short pass to Johnson who runs for the Titans first down.

Johnson with the catch and run to the Bills 43 yard line. He gets out of bounds wth one second left on the clock. Titans line up to try a 60 yard field goal. Time out is called.

The kick is short and returned by Fred Jackson and the half is over. Bills trail by 3, 17-14.

The Bills have played much worse halves than that one. Let's see what the second half holds.

Bills get the ball to start the second half.  After nearly losing the football on what appeared to be a fumble Edwards is chased out of the pocket and throws it away on the next play. Now 3rd and 4.

Long for T.O. and its a Bills first down at the Titans 41. A good throw and that's six. He didn't lead him at all.

Pass to Derek Fine for a first down. The Bills moving the ball on the opening drive of the second half.

Fred Jackson makes another nice play for a first down inside the 20 yard line. Actually down near the 11 yard line. Bills take a false start and move back to the 16 yard line.

Edwards runs and is short of the first down. Bills try the field goal for the tie. From 25 yards out Lindell ties the game at 17.

Great replay of TO getting after it with a Titans defensive back. Owens really seems fired up today. Love that emotion.

Johnson a big run to start the Titans drive after the Bills tied the game.

Bills stop Johnson in his tracks. Good play defense.

Vince Young runs for the first down. They're in Bills territory.

A Johnson run is wiped out by a holding penalty.

Titans 3rd and 16 at the Bills 45. Johnson catch and run but he's well short of the first down. Titans will punt.  Its downed deep in Bills territory.

Shawn Nelson the catch just short of the first down. 3rd and 1 for the Bills.

Edwards the QB sneak and he is just short of the first down. The Bills punt the ball away.

Good replay of a cheap shot on TO by Finegan. Very cheap. TO not happy. No flags.

Titans start near their own 45 yard line. First down pass is incomplete.

Titans complete pass for first down as the third quarter ends. Tied at 17. Things have been much worse this season.

Titans fall on their own fumble. Loss of two. Now second and 12.

Screen to Johnson who is short of the first down.

Third and three Titans. Bills take a time out.

Titans give it to Johnson on the pitch from Young and he easily gets the first down. He's down to the Bills 13 yard line.

Wow ! A John McCargo sighting after he brings Johnson down for no gain.

Young's pass is incomplete, he's under pressure. Now 3rd and 10 for the Titans.

Young runs for the first down. He's down at the one and a half yard line. First and goal Titans.

Jeff Fisher is hot about something.  It appears the Titans are challenging the play. Not a smart challenge. Clearly Young is down well before the end zone.

The ruling on the field stands. What exactly were Fisher and the Titans looking at ? Oh well, good for the Bills hopefully !!!  However it is still first and goal !!!

Johnson goes nowhere on first down. Second and goal.

Young rolls right and throws into the end zone, its caught but out of bounds.  Not even close. Third and goal.

Johnson takes it in for six. Looked like Bills had him but he escaped and scored. Titans lead 24 to 17.

Great hard running on the return by Fred Jackson. Bills start near their own 30 yard line. Replay of the MUSIC CITY MIRACLE on TV. Just what we need !!!!!

Edwards pass knocked down at the line of scrimmage. Quickly its third down.

Edwards is sacked. At least he hung onto the football. Bills will punt.

Bills defense has to get the ball back. A long time consuming drive by the Titans is real trouble here trailing by a touchdown with the clock ticking. That three and out didn't help.

3rd and 3 for Titans. Young runs for the first down. Flag on the play. Illegal contact on Bills Drayton Florence. First down no matter what. Kelsay had a shot at Young but couldn't get him.

3rd and 4 for the Titans. The Bills really need a stop here at their own 38. Titans 10 of  14 on third down. Young runs and there is a flag. On the Titans, repeat third down. Third and 14 after the holding penalty.

Johnson with the catch and run for the first down. He ran right through what seemed like the entire Bills defense. Very poor job of tackling. Great play Johnson but you have to tackle. First down Titans. The clock is running. The Titans are driving.

Under 4 minutes to play. Titans 3rd and 8. At the Bills 29 yard line. Flag on the play. Its on the Titans. Holding and its 4th and 6.  Titans will try a field goal from 51 yard out. The kick is good and the Bills trail by 10 27-17 with 3:21 left in the fourth quarter.

Jackson bobbles ball on kickoff return then takes it out near the 30 yard line. Jon Corto is called for holding and the Bills start at their own 20.

Trent's first pass for TO is nowhere near him. Incomplete.  Two in a row nowhere near TO and now Trent is picked off and taken in for six. Game over. The whole world knew who Trent was trying to force the ball too. Welcome to 3 & 6. Anyone heard of Lee Evans or did they just forget about him after he caught two TD's ? Tiants lead 34 to 17. Except for the opening drive of the third quarter, the Bills offense BRUTAL in the second half.

Ryan Fitzpatrick is warming up on the sidelines. Here comes the cavalry to save the day.

Good kickoff return. Now the offense is back on the field. Fitzpatrick is tipped in the air and incomplete. The Bills are back to pitiful. That didn't take long. They gave us a little hope at least in the first half but it didn't last.

That Fitzpatrick pass thrown into three defenders. No white shirts anywhere in sight. False start Bills. Levitre again. Shot of Dick Jauron on the sideilnes followed by Trent Edwards. One looks clueless the other dazed. Now Lee Evans drops a pass. Probably got REAL COLD since they haven't used him in so long.

Pathetic. Fortunately onl 2:16 to play in this week's nightmare. Johnson for Titans 100 yards ruhsing and 100 yard receiving.

Finally, the two minute warning. The agony is nearly over.

The trouble with this Bills team is you know what's coming and its ususally not very good. They'll make a play or two here and there but when it really counts, nothing especially from the offense. Teams that cannot score cannot win. Sadly 17 points has become a decent (?) showing for this group.

This is awful. Painful to watch. More pain. Fitzpatrick showing he can do what Edwards did, have a pass taken back for six. The ball right through TO's hands. TO needs to make that catch but really at this point does it really matter ? Hard to believe this game was tied at 17 in the fourth quarter. Ugly. Disgusting. Discouraging. Another fourth quarter IMPLOSION by the Bills.

Please end this nonsense. The Bills get the ball back and Justin Jenkins with the kickoff return and then the pushing and shoving. No flags.

Mercifully there are only 30 seconds and counting left.

Finally, its all over. Titans DESTROY the Bills 41 to 17. Bills drop to 3 & 6. So, if you had any hope of  a second half playoff surge, forget it. Chris Johnson with an AWESOME game for the Titans.

I think the best part of today was that TO showed some emotion. Made for some good TV ! Too bad more of his teammates don't have it.

Chalk up another BRUTAL BILLS performance as another season goes into the tank.

The Bills are at Jacksonville next Sunday. See you then if you can stand to watch this mess any longer.
