Update: Victim in Fatal Kenmore Hit and Run Identified

Kenmore police have now identified the man who was killed while crossing Military Rd. near Victoria Blvd. in the Village of Kenmore

Russel Reuman was struck around 6 p.m. by a pickup.  The driver of the truck fled the scene. Thanks to witnesses, the vehicle was later apprehended and the driver, Paul J. Modica was taken into custody.

Modica has been charged with driving while intoxicated, leaving the scene of an injury accident resulting in death, and vehicular manslaughter.
