ORCHARD PARK (wgrz.com) - Receiver Terrell Owens missed practice again on Thursday with a strained hip.

Owens was not at practice Wednesday.  Head Coach Dick Jauron says Owens suffered a hip strain that began bothering him on Tuesday.   Jauron says Owens has been receiving treatment, but that Owens was very uncomfortable during meetings on Wednesday morning.  Jauron said it's too early to tell if Owens will be ready to play Sunday in Nashville.

"Hopefully it goes away as quickly as it came, said Jauron."

Owens appeared briefly in the lockeroom after practice both Wednesday and Thursday and did not seem to be limping.

The Bills are coming off their bye week and are preparing to face the Titans in Nashville on Sunday.   They are still facing serious injury issues in addition to Owens.

The following players did not practice on Thursday:

CB Terrence McGee - knee , LB Keith Ellison - quad, DE - Aaron Schobel - groin,  DT Kyle Williams - knee.

Quarterback Trent Edwards will return as the starter for the Bills Sunday at Tennessee.   Jauron confirmed the decision after practice on Wednesday.

Ryan Fitzpatrick has started the last two games for Buffalo after Edwards suffered a concussion against the Jets October 18.
