WASHINGTON (AP) -- President Barack Obama is saluting the troops on Veterans Day by hosting a special breakfast at the White House.
He and first lady Michelle Obama will be welcoming a select group of veterans and their families to the private event.
The president will also mark the day at Arlington National Cemetery. He'll deliver remarks and help with the annual wreath-laying ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknowns.
Obama spoke yesterday at the memorial service for the 13 shooting victims at Fort Hood, Texas. There, he said that American veterans living and dead well know the meaning of the word "sacrifice."
