If you ask anyone who knew Curry Glor, they'd tell you that he was a fun-loving guy who lived life to the fullest.  Everything changed though, after a terrible diagnosis.

Curry's parents, Maureen and Bill say their son was diagnosed in 2008 with a disease called Sarcoidosis.  It's a disease of the immune system.  Curry was battling that disease when he was given another diagnosis; Acute Myloid Leukemia.  Three weeks after that diagnosis, Curry lost his life.  A dad, son, brother, husband and friend was gone.

For his parents, the grief was helped by the outpouring of support from friends and strangers.   Hundreds of letters and cards were sent to the family.... words of comfort.

Curry leaves behind a family who loved him, including twin three year old daughters.  A benefit will be held to raise money for the girls' futures.   You can help support the family.  The benefit will be held on Sunday, November 8th from 1 to 5pm at The Tonawanda Castle in Tonawanda.
