The Erie County Health Department will hold an H1N1 vaccine clinic for daycare providers this weekend.
Erie County Health Commissioner, Dr. Anthony Billittier says they will distribute the "hundreds" of H1N1 spray vaccine doses they have at the clinic. Date, location and time have yet to be determined.
The clinic will only be open to daycare providers who watch at least one child six months of age or younger.
In order to get the H1N1 spray vaccine you must be between 2 - 49 years old and you can't be pregnant or have an illness.
Vaccine Shortage
Erie County is still trying to obtain more doses of the vaccine but right now, they are having trouble keeping up with the demand.
New York State officials have asked the Centers for Disease Control for six million H1N1 vaccine doses. So far, they have only been approved for one million.
