Buffalo Police are looking into a mid-morning shooting that took place near the corner of West and Virginia Streets.
The shooting was about a block away from the Herman Badillo School.
Police say 22-year-old Saul Santana of Buffalo was shot in an apparent drive-by. He is currently in ECMC in stable condition.
Classes took place as usual Thursday.
