Police Call Off Search For Bank Robbery Suspect

Orchard Park Police have called off the search for a suspect who they believe robbed the First Niagara Bank on Webster Road around 3pm Tuesday afternoon.

Investigators say they think suspect left the area.

Officials say the suspect, a young, black male, claimed he had a weapon but did not show it. The suspect did get away with some money

Investigators believe he took off on foot northbound from the bank, possibly in the woods. They have the area cordoned off and are searching for him.

Orchard Park was assisted by the Erie County Sheriff's Dept. patrols and Air One, State Police and West Seneca Police.
