A newly elected congressman from Western New York is taking aim at wasteful spending in Washington.

Representative Chris Lee (R-26th District) says President Barack Obama is leading the nation down a dangerous road that will create long-term budget deficits. He says the president's budget will lead to a $13 trillion deficit in 10 years.

Lee has launched a new web page that he says will update Western New Yorkers on how their tax dollars are being spent and keep tabs on government programs that are underperforming.

Lee comes from a small business background and says he's worried about possible new taxes on business owners. He voted against the president's stimulus package, but says it's his obligation to make sure that federal funds are filtered through Western New York properly.
