SCIO, N.Y. -- State Police arrested two people wanted on felony drug charges following a three-hour-long standoff early Saturday morning.
Troopers say Jordan Doane, 24, of Friendship and Elizabeth Martin, 22, of Wellsville, were running a meth lab in the town of Bolivar. An arrest warrant was issued late last month.
State Police received a tip that the pair was staying at a motel on State Route 417, and when Troopers arrived around 1:30 a.m., the two barricaded themselves inside and refused to come out.
The standoff ended around 4 a.m. without incident.
Doane and Martin are charged with unlawful manufacture of methamphetamine and unlawful disposal of a methamphetamine laboratory. Additional charges are pending.
