LEROY, NY - New York State Troopers were busy over the weekend making several DWI arrests including one for Leandra's Law.

State Police in Warsaw received a call from a third party that a woman may be driving drunk with a 4-year-old girl in the car.

Troopers were able to locate 40-year-old Andrea Kruse of Pavilion on the Tops parking lot in Leroy. Kruse was arrested and charged with felony DWI under Leandra's Law.

The 4-year-old girl was taken home by her child care provider at the scene.

After returning to the station, Kruse took a breath test and blew a .14%. She was remanded to the Genesee County Jail on $1,000 bail.
